Burlingame attorney Joe Cotchett has made a career of taking on all sorts of big-name entities on behalf of the average citizen. He sued PG&E after the explosion in San Bruno, Wells Fargo for opening fraudulent accounts, and was the lead trial lawyer for 23,000 plaintiffs in the Lincoln Savings & Loan Association/American Continental Corp. case. Cotchett is considered one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America—and has been on several shortlists to be named as California’s Attorney General.
