A Message from San Mateo County Democracy for America

SMCDFA members and friends,
The election of Donald Trump was a wake-up call for the Democratic Party to become truly relevant again…and to get back to the basics that win elections.
Our meeting program speaker, Kimberly Ellis, candidate for chair of the California Democratic Party, will make her case for a bold new path, as we near the officer elections at the CDP convention in May.

May 3 – “A New Vision for the California Democratic Party”

Kimberly Ellis, dynamic candidate for chair of the California Democratic Party, proposes a 7-point plan to make the Democratic Pary relevant again and win back Congress. For the last seven years, Kimberly was the highly succesful executive director of Emerge California, the organization that trains Democratic women for elected office. The CDP officer elections will be held at the convention in Sacramento the weekend of May 19. We’ll also be getting updates from our SMCDFA task forces.

Bring your friends, and don’t be late — we always start with dessert.
